Kitchen Staff members are responsible for operating various kitchen equipment, including ovens, fryers, and stovetops, which are fundamental tools in the preparation of a wide range of delicious meals. Maintaining a clean and organized workspace is a top priority, with staff ensuring their areas are fully stocked at the beginning of each shift and properly restocked and cleaned at the end of the day. The role demands teamwork, as communication with fellow kitchen staff is critical to the smooth and efficient operation of the kitchen during busy service hours.

Job Requirements

  • ability to stand at least 4 hours per shift and lift 50lbs
  • at least 16 years of age
  • ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Job Qualifications

  • previous experience cooking in a kitchen
  • highschool diploma or ged

Job Duties

  • follow recipe specifications to ensure the taste of each dish remains consistent
  • maintain a clean kitchen and know safety food standards
  • work with various kitchen equipment such as ovens, fryers, and stove tops
  • ensure your workspace stays fully stocked at the start of your shift and help put away at the end of each day
