Job Requirements

  • Previous experience working in a kitchen or food preparation environment
  • Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and work efficiently in a fast-paced setting
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights

  • Certification in food handling or culinary arts
  • Experience with commercial kitchen equipment and inventory software

  • Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays

Job Duties

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to standardized recipes and quality standards
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area including equipment and utensils
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and health codes at all times
  • Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages
  • Collaborate with team members to coordinate meal preparation and timely service
  • Support menu development by providing feedback on ingredient availability and preparation techniques
  • Participate in regular kitchen meetings and training sessions to improve skills and knowledge
