Job Description

The Kid's Club Coordinator position is a unique opportunity to be part of the Trout Creek Recreation Center Team, where you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the daily operations and safety of children participating in the club’s activities. This role requires a fun, personable, and highly organized individual who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys working with children. The primary goal of the Kid's Club Coordinator is to deliver exceptional child care services aligned with Tahoe Donner's standards and policies, ensuring each child has an enjoyable and safe experience.
In this role, the Coordinator will not only lead but actively engage in day-to-day club operations, including planning age-appropriate activities, maintaining safety procedures, and offering excellent customer service to members, guests, and business partners. Attention to safety is paramount, as the Coordinator must uphold Tahoe Donner’s zero tolerance policy for any inappropriate behavior to protect children. This includes knowledge of relevant federal, state, and local legislation affecting child safety.
The role offers both full-time and part-time seasonal opportunities, providing flexibility alongside competitive starting pay based on experience and availability. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or associate degree from a two-year college or technical school
- Six months relevant experience and or training
- Equivalent combination of formal training, education and experience
- Ability to perform all duties of the position
- Current CPR and first aid certifications
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to engage and interact positively with children
- Energetic and outgoing personality
- Strong organizational skills
- Team player mentality

Job Duties
- Provide excellent customer service to members, guests, business partners and employees
- Ensure all staff meet or exceed the highest level of guest service
- Uphold Tahoe Donner Association's zero tolerance standard for sexual abuse and molestation
- Ensure an entertaining and safe experience for members' children
- Create and maintain age-appropriate activities and programming
- Provide support information on activities, schedules, and registration requirements
- Prepare departmental payroll on time and accurately
- Assist with snow removal including shoveling, snow blowing, and clearing walkways and handicap access
- Assist management with various administrative duties such as data entry, scheduling, sales reporting, staff reviews, and payroll
