The role focuses on overseeing the hotel's complimentary 5:30 p.m. Kickback, a distinctive hospitality feature that provides guests with light meals and drinks in a relaxed atmosphere. As a vital part-time team member, you will be responsible for preparing and cleaning up after the Kickback, ensuring that the kitchen and lobby areas maintain a high standard of cleanliness and organization. Your key focus will be on delivering outstanding guest service by ensuring food safety, maintaining inventory levels, and embodying the welcoming spirit of Drury Hotels.

You will act as an ambassador of the Drury culture – promoting integrity, exceptional service, and hospitality to both guests and coworkers. The role requires excellent communication with guests, providing them with knowledge about hotel services, local community attractions, and events, and consistently maintaining a friendly and positive attitude. Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Experience in hospitality or food service preferred
Strong communication skills
Ability to work flexible part-time hours
Ability to maintain cleanliness and organizational standards
Knowledge of food safety practices
Positive and energetic attitude

Job Qualifications

Knowledge of hotel accommodations, the community, and hotel services
Ability to conduct accurate inventory of food items and calculate order levels
Warm and friendly manner in communicating with guests and creating a relaxing atmosphere
Ability to speak and receive direction in English

Job Duties

Oversee the 5:30 Kickback for guests through food preparation and clean-up
Ensure kitchen and lobby areas are clean and well organized
Maintain food safety standards and keep supplies fully stocked at appropriate levels
Present and maintain a high standard of integrity, service, and hospitality to promote Drury culture
Answer guest questions using knowledge of the hotel, area, and events
Provide courteous, friendly guest service with a +1 Service attitude
