Located at 4310 The 25 Way Northeast in Albuquerque, New Mexico, this Drury Hotel property is currently seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join their team in the role of the 5:30 Kickback Team Member. This position plays a crucial role in delivering the complimentary 5:30 p.m. Kickback experience, a key element designed to create a memorable and enjoyable stay for all guests. The role revolves around food preparation, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring a hospitable atmosphere during this special daily event.
The 5:30 Kickback Team Member is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Kickback event, including food setup, monitoring food safety standards, and replenishing supplies as needed. This role requires attention to detail, a friendly demeanor, and the willingness to uphold the highest standards of integrity and hospitality that define Drury Hotels. Additionally, the team member must be knowledgeable about hotel services and the local community to effectively assist and engage guests by answering questions and providing information about the area and events.
This is a full-time position offering a starting base pay of $17.15 per hour with the opportunity to earn quarterly bonuses up to $3,200 per year based on hotel performance, demonstrating Drury’s commitment to rewarding team member contributions. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in hospitality or food service is preferred
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to follow health and safety regulations
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends
- Eligibility to work legally in the United States
Job Qualifications
- Knowledge of hotel accommodations, the community, and hotel services
- Ability to conduct accurate inventory of food items and calculate order levels
- Warm and friendly manner in communicating with guests
- Ability to speak and receive direction in English
- Experience in hospitality or food service preferred
Job Duties
- Make our complimentary 5:30 p.m. Kickback happy hour well enjoyed by guests
- Oversee food preparation and clean-up during the Kickback
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen and lobby areas
- Ensure food safety standards are met and supplies are stocked
- Present and uphold a high standard of integrity, service, and hospitality
- Respond to guest questions with knowledge of hotel, area, and events
- Provide courteous and friendly guest service with a +1 Service attitude
