The Kalispel Tribe of Indians is a respected and established Native American tribe dedicated to fostering a positive and inclusive work atmosphere rooted in its core values and commitment to the community. Renowned for its welcoming hospitality and vibrant culture, the Kalispel Tribe offers meaningful employment opportunities that honor tribal traditions and federal employment laws. It is an equal opportunity employer that applies Indian preference across all hiring, promotion, and transfer opportunities, ensuring a balanced and fair approach to recruitment. This policy extends preferential consideration to Kalispel Tribal Members, spouses of enrolled members, enrolled members of other Indian tribes, and then all other applicants, reflecting a deep respect for tribal heritage while promoting diversity and inclusion. Employment at the Kalispel Tribe of Indians is at-will, confirming flexibility and mutual agreement in employment terms. The Tribe maintains a drug-free workplace, administering drug tests at the time of hire and throughout employment unannounced, to promote safety and responsibility. Additionally, background investigations may be conducted to uphold the highest standards of integrity and trust within the workforce.

Kalispel Hospitality embodies the Tribe's core purpose—making people feel special by delivering hospitality that is warm, genuine, and committed to excellence. Employees are expected to engage guests with a smile and a positive attitude while embracing important values such as pride in their work, inclusivity, respect, and continuous pursuit of excellence. This service culture is evident within Kalispel Golf & Country Club (KGCC), where team members contribute to an environment of genuine care, attentiveness, and guest satisfaction.

The role offered is that of a Restaurant Server at the Kalispel Golf & Country Club, specializing in providing excellent dining room service that aligns with Tribe policies and Washington State regulations. The position contributes significantly to the guest experience by greeting guests warmly, managing orders efficiently using the POS system, and providing knowledgeable recommendations on menu items including beverages and wine pairings. The server maintains an orderly and clean working environment while collaborating closely with fellow staff to embody true team spirit. Responsibilities also include handling cash transactions accurately, resolving guest inquiries promptly, and maintaining confidential records of tips. The job may occasionally require participation in Internal Review Board hearings, underscoring a role within a tightly knit community organization.

Working as a Restaurant Server with the Kalispel Tribe of Indians offers a unique opportunity to develop outstanding customer service skills while being part of a tribe that values respect, teamwork, and excellence every day. The ideal candidate should have a positive approach, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.
