As a Restaurant General Manager at KBP Foods, you will play a critical role in the success of the restaurant by leading your team and implementing effective strategies to drive profitability and operational excellence. This full-time position offers a dynamic work environment where your leadership skills will be honed as you manage day-to-day restaurant operations and contribute to the broader goals of the company. Besides managing cash control and security procedures, you will handle inventory, labor management, and financial reporting to ensure the restaurant's success. You will be responsible for recruiting, interviewing, and hiring team members, shift managers, and assistant general managers, coaching and training employees in operational excellence to maintain high standards. Your leadership will ensure a clean, welcoming restaurant environment where guests receive a friendly experience and quality product every time.

This role requires a minimum of one year experience as a Restaurant General Manager in food service or retail, preferably in quick service, with responsibility for profit and loss. Essential physical capabilities include the ability to lift heavy objects, stand and walk for entire shifts, navigate compact spaces safely, and operate restaurant equipment. Candidates must be at least 18 years old and available to close the restaurant at least two nights per week.

Job Duties

  • Drive profitability by managing cash control and security procedures, monitoring inventory, managing labor, reviewing financial reports, and taking action as needed
  • Recruit, interview and hire Team Members, Shift Managers and Assistant General Managers
  • Coach and train employees in operational excellence to ensure restaurant success
  • Conduct inventory counts every other week
  • Maintain a clean restaurant and ensure every guest enjoys a friendly experience with a quality product
  • Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects, stand and walk for entire shifts, safely maneuver through compact spaces, and operate restaurant equipment
