As a leading entity in the food and beverage industry, the company prides itself on fostering a positive work environment, emphasizing guest satisfaction, operational efficiency, and financial growth. Its reputation extends within the theme park, tourism, hospitality, and entertainment industries, reflecting its specialization in managing multi-unit service operations with a focus on brand consistency, safety, and customer engagement.
The role offered is a strategic leadership position as an Assistant Foods Operations Manager. This employment opportunity is designed for professionals who possess a strong business acumen and a proven track record in food service management, preferably with experience in the theme park or tourism sectors. The Assistant Foods Operations Manager will be responsible for assisting the Foods Operations Manager in leading and directing the Foods Division. The key objective of the role is to ensure a high-quality food and beverage experience for guests while achieving budgeted revenue, cost, and profit goals. This involves ownership of P&L responsibilities along with business planning, budgeting, and forecasting activities.
This role requires a dedicated leader who will coach, empower, and provide feedback to direct reports, ensuring accountability for individual results, and maintaining a positive work environment that aligns with the company’s Great Place Six (GP6) culture. Operational duties include managing staffing needs, labor deployment, safety adherence, and compliance with food handling and storage requirements. The Assistant Foods Operations Manager is also expected to maintain strict compliance with payment card industry standards and oversee financial procedures such as cash handling and inventory management.
Success in this position requires flexibility in working days, hours, and locations, along with a readiness to perform additional duties and make decisions as necessary. The role is integral to driving guest loyalty through exceptional service delivery at all touchpoints, aspiring to exceed brand standards and expectations. The Assistant Foods Operations Manager will actively monitor department and park operations and participate in period-end P&L meetings, preparing and executing action plans for operational improvement. Candidates should be prepared to engage creatively with guests to capture demand for revenue growth, ensure safe working conditions, and develop employee skills through effective coaching and training.
This role is a full-time leadership opportunity that offers a dynamic work environment requiring strong operational, financial, and interpersonal skills. Candidates with a culinary school diploma or a degree in food service management, multi-unit service management experience, and certifications such as ServSafe, Allertrain, and TIPS will find this role an excellent fit to advance their career in food and beverage operations management within a thriving and supportive company culture.
