The role of Kavasseur, also known as Bartender, is a crucial part of this dynamic team. We are currently looking to fill two full-time and one part-time position, catering to a variety of schedules that include working late shifts until 1am and starting early shifts as early as 10:30am. The ideal candidate will be 21 years or older, possess experience in customer service, bar work, or retail, and have a passion for contributing to an upbeat and positive venue atmosphere.

As a Kavasseur, your primary responsibilities will include serving customers with a friendly and professional demeanor, ensuring that every guest enjoys their experience from the moment they walk in. You will be responsible for not only mixing and serving drinks but also maintaining cleanliness by washing dishes and keeping the store tidy. Tracking open tabs and checking IDs to comply with age restrictions are important parts of this role, emphasizing the venue's commitment to safety and customer satisfaction.

In addition, you will have exciting responsibilities such as DJ’ing music to enhance the vibe and energy of the bar, a feature that adds an extra layer of engagement and entertainment for patrons. Producing kegs of product also forms part of the job, providing an opportunity to learn about the unique kava drink preparation process and helping maintain inventory levels that keep the bar operating smoothly.
