The role of Guest Service Ambassador is a vital position within the AHC Hospitality team, focusing on creating a welcoming environment from the moment guests arrive. This part-time position, requiring weekend availability, plays a key role in guest interactions by greeting and assisting visitors at the valet motor and main lobbies. Responsibilities include managing guests' luggage, parking vehicles efficiently and safely, and ensuring an overall positive and professional atmosphere throughout the guest's arrival and departure processes. The role also includes opportunities for team members to enhance guests' understanding and enjoyment of the property through personalized orientations and local insights.

Job Duties

  • create a professional and welcoming atmosphere by posting up with proper posture in the motor lobby in view of guests
  • pause and engage each guest entering and exiting the hotel and create relationships by being curious and knowledgeable about their interests
  • create a lasting impression by extending a genuine welcome and a gracious goodbye to each guest while using their name
  • use proper verbiage with guests and follow JW Marriott and AHC policies procedures and standards
  • pull and park cars swiftly while maintaining a cautious speed and value guests' time
  • assist guests with loading unloading and escorting luggage to their rooms
  • provide engaging orientation of the hotel and surrounding area
  • ensure the hotel entrance area is clean organized and guest ready at all times
  • communicate consistently with valets doorman and other departments to ensure timely flawless service
  • complete daily shift checklist accurately
  • meet and pass along pertinent information to the next shift
  • ensure complete and proper uniform and professional appearance
  • have extensive knowledge of the area local destinations and hotel property services
  • be aware and able to expedite hotel safety and security procedures
  • call taxi for guests
  • perform additional duties as assigned
