Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- minimum three years’ relevant banquet culinary experience
- availability to work full-time including weekdays, weekends and holidays
- ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment
- strong interpersonal and leadership skills
Job Qualifications
- at least three years of experience in high-volume banquet operations
- previous experience in hotel kitchens preferred
- strong leadership and communication skills
- ability to work full-time with flexible availability including weekends and holidays
- culinary education or relevant certifications preferred
Job Duties
- assist the Chef de Cuisine in the direction and oversight of all culinary operations
- create and implement menu selections for special banquet themes and events
- ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation and alcohol awareness standards
- assist in monitoring and developing team member performance including supervision, counseling, evaluations, training, scheduling and recognition
- lead and actively participate in food preparation and production on the banquet floor
