Job Description

Yaamava Resort & Casino is currently seeking a Junior Sous Chef to join their culinary team in upholding high standards of food service and quality. This role involves supporting the culinary leadership team and ensuring adherence to health regulations and resort standards, contributing to menu concepts and recipe standardization.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • vocational, technical, or business certification in a related field preferred
  • minimum of four (4) years' experience in large hotel or similar casino operation with high volume production preferred
  • demonstrated experience leading larger staff groups as a Lead Cook level or above
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • ability to handle high volume kitchen operations and provide efficient service to guests and team members
  • clear communication skills in English
  • ability to work under pressure and maintain composure during busy periods.
