We are currently seeking a Juice Department Manager to join our team. This pivotal role involves managing juice department production operations, including juice concentrate processing and remanufacturing, to ensure we meet and exceed customer expectations. The Juice Department Manager will oversee and optimize production functions while ensuring compliance with stringent product specifications, food safety standards, and regulatory requirements such as HACCP. This leader will be instrumental in executing effective production during the seasonal processing periods and remanufacturing phases, focusing on quality assurance, operational efficiency, and adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
The position requires someone with strong leadership skills to manage departmental safety, HACCP compliance, and labor costs while supporting demand planning for fruit and packaging materials. Coordination with procurement, warehouse, and scheduling teams is essential in maintaining production readiness and continuity. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in food manufacturing, particularly in juice or concentrate production, and possess the ability to drive throughput, yield, and quality improvements through analytical and continuous improvement strategies.

Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in food manufacturing, quality systems, engineering, or related field preferred
- At least 5 years of food manufacturing supervisory experience
- Demonstrated experience in juice or concentrate production preferred
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test, background check including employment and educational verification, and credit screen
- Willingness to work extended schedule and weekends during the fresh pack season
- Strong knowledge of juice processing systems and compliance standards
- Proven leadership abilities in managing production operations and teams
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in food manufacturing, quality systems, engineering, or related field preferred
- 5 years of demonstrated food manufacturing supervisory experience in roles of increasing responsibility
- juice/concentrate experience preferred
- Extensive knowledge of juice processing systems and equipment
- Strong analytical, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement skills
- Leadership in production operations and planning
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and drive operational efficiency
Job Duties
- Manage the manufacture of all juice and concentrate products in accordance with customer specifications, food safety standards, and HACCP requirements
- Oversee processing season execution and remanufacturing operations to meet production schedules, quality requirements, and operating targets
- Support demand planning for fruit and packaging materials and coordinate with Procurement, Warehouse, and Scheduling to ensure availability, proper inventory levels, and production readiness
- Responsible for department crewing and labor cost and ensure scheduling is completed under budgetary guidelines
- Oversee day-to-day operation of production functions including daily production, coordination with support functions, and execution of systems and processes to meet throughput, yield/recovery, quality, and delivery expectations
