Job Description
Product Connections is a division of Acosta Group, a leading full-service marketing agency known for its innovative approach to connecting brands with consumers through retail and experiential marketing. Acosta Group is a collective of trusted retail, marketing, and foodservice agencies dedicated to reimagining consumer engagement at every point in the shopping journey. With over 10,000 experts and more than 150 corporate employees, the organization specializes in digital and traditional retail events, experiential marketing, sponsorship activation, and omnichannel shopper marketing strategies. The company fosters a collaborative, inclusive culture that encourages employees to grow their skills and take their careers to the next level. Product Connections is committed to creating a supportive workplace environment where ideas matter, growth is encouraged, and employee impact is meaningful. As part of this innovative team, employees can expect to be engaged in dynamic projects that help move consumer products through the conversion funnel by reaching the right audience at the right time.
The role available within Product Connections focuses on the preparation and demonstration of juice and other specialty food products for purchase in retail environments. The position entails proper setup and maintenance of demonstration areas to ensure that all food products are prepared and presented following safety and compliance guidelines. Employees are expected to thoroughly understand product demonstration materials and comply with all regulatory requirements involved in food handling, preparation, production, packaging, labeling, merchandising, and disposal. This role requires strict adherence to safety protocols, especially when operating hot machinery or sharp utensils, and demands accountability for clean and sterile workspace maintenance using approved cleaning chemicals and equipment.
Additionally, this role involves regular communication through email regarding product event schedules, corporate updates, event changes, and supervisor requests, as well as participation in certification programs and special training sessions to keep skills current. The job also includes assisting teammates with event setup and cleanup as well as supporting kitchen duties when necessary. Demonstrations and sampling events are a key component of this position, designed to support business needs and promote products effectively to consumers.
Physically, the role requires the ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the day, push wheeled machinery weighing between 50 and 600 pounds, stand for extended periods, and utilize a six-foot step stool when necessary. The work environment is typically a retail store with moderate to high noise levels, exposure to cold refrigerated conditions, and interaction with coworkers, management, and customers. Bilingual skills may be required depending on business needs, with English as the primary language. This position does not have supervisory responsibilities but offers an important operational role within the marketing agency's client engagements.
Acosta Group is an equal opportunity employer committed to providing reasonable accommodations for individuals with disabilities. The company also participates in E-Verify to confirm employee eligibility to work in the United States, emphasizing compliance and ethical hiring practices. This opportunity offers an important role in a cutting-edge marketing environment with a commitment to employee development, safety, and excellence in customer engagement. Applicants are encouraged to apply and contribute to a team focused on redefining how brands connect with consumers.
