Founded on the principle of delivering innovative and effective brand solutions, Acosta Group combines the expertise of over 10,000 professionals and a team of more than 150 corporate employees to excel in digital and traditional retail events, experiential marketing, sponsorship activation, and omnichannel shopper marketing. As a full-service marketing agency, Product Connections offers a dynamic and inclusive work environment that encourages creativity, skill development, and career growth. The agency prides itself on a culture of collaboration, support, and forward-thinking that enables employees to contribute meaningfully to their roles and see their efforts reflected in successful marketing campaigns and consumer conversions.
This position is part-time and falls within the retail marketing category, with a competitive salary range of $14.50 to $15.50 per hour. The role is specifically designed for individuals who have a passion for food and beverage and marketing, involving the preparation of juices and other specialty products for purchase, plus conducting product demonstrations and sampling events. The individual will be responsible for properly setting up and preparing areas for specialty food products in a retail store environment, closely following program instructions to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards. In this role, team members will also be required to handle equipment such as hot machinery and sharp blades safely, apply proper food handling, preparation, and production techniques, and maintain a clean and safe workspace using appropriate chemicals and cleaning methods.
Further responsibilities include accurate and timely completion of reporting requirements, engaging in ongoing training and certification, supporting event setups and teardowns, and assisting teammates with kitchen and event duties. The role demands physical endurance as it involves lifting heavy items up to 50 lbs repeatedly, pushing wheeled machines weighing between 50 to 600 lbs, standing for long periods, and working in conditions that may include exposure to cold and hot environments. Bilingual skills may be beneficial depending on business needs, and strong communication skills are essential to engage with customers and coworkers effectively.
Overall, this part-time role offers individuals an excellent opportunity to develop versatile skills in product marketing, retail operations, and customer engagement, backed by the reputable support and resources of the Acosta Group. Those interested in joining a fast-paced, supportive, and growth-oriented marketing team will find this a rewarding position that combines hands-on food preparation duties with brand representation and customer interaction in a retail setting.
