Job Requirements

Ability to continuously lift a minimum of 50 lbs several times per day
ability to push wheeled machines weighing 50-600 lbs to and from the sales floor
ability to use machinery and sharp utensils safely
standing for extended periods
work varied hours
climb using a 6-foot step stool when necessary
visual ability to read instructions and ensure compliance
ability to work in cold and hot environments
ability to sit, stand, talk, hear and use hands for computer operations
listen and understand spoken words
read and understand written information
communicate orally and in writing
interact with customers
English language proficiency, bilingual skills may be required
no supervisory responsibilities
work in retail store environment with moderate to high noise
exposure to food products, cleaning chemicals and refrigerated conditions

Job Qualifications

Previous experience in product marketing, product demonstrations or food, beverage or restaurant industry preferred
ability to safely prepare juice and specialty products
ability to conduct demonstrations and sampling events
applicable state and local food safety certification or license
strong communication skills
ability to follow safety and compliance guidelines

Job Duties

Properly set up and prepare the area for specialized food products
fully read materials accompanying product demonstrations to understand program scope, instructions, production requirements and compliance
follow all safety requirements when using equipment
practice proper lifting techniques
adhere to safe food handling, preparation, production, packaging, labeling, merchandising and disposal procedures
accurately complete all reporting requirements
check event schedules and emails regularly for updates and instructions
complete required certifications and attend training sessions
follow safety and compliance guidelines for machine operation, cleaning and maintenance
maintain a clean, sterile and safe workspace
assist teammates with event setup, cleanup or kitchen duties
conduct food sampling and demonstrations
follow general setup and teardown guidelines
