Job Requirements
- Previous experience in product marketing, product demonstrations, or food and beverage industry
- applicable state and local food safety certification or license
- ability to continuously lift at least 50 lbs
- ability to push wheeled machines weighing 50-600 lbs
- ability to stand for extended periods
- ability to climb with a 6-foot step stool
- ability to read and understand safety and food handling instructions
- ability to work in refrigerated and hot equipment environments
- ability to communicate orally and in writing
- availability to work varied hours
- physical ability to operate kitchen machinery and sharp utensils
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience in product marketing or product demonstrations
- experience in food, beverage, or restaurant industry preferred
- ability to safely prepare juice and specialty products
- ability to conduct product demonstrations and sampling
- applicable state and local food safety certification or license
- strong communication skills in English
- ability to read and understand product and safety instructions
- ability to work effectively in a retail store environment
Job Duties
- Prepare juice and other specialty products for purchase
- set up and prepare area for specialized food products
- read materials accompanying product demonstrations to understand scope and requirements
- follow safety requirements when using equipment
- adhere to safe food handling and preparation procedures
- complete reporting requirements accurately
- check product event schedules and emails regularly
- complete certifications and attend training sessions
- follow safety and compliance guidelines for machine operation and maintenance
- maintain a clean, sterile, and safe work area
- assist teammates with event set-up, clean-up, and kitchen duties
- conduct food sampling and demonstrations in support of business needs
