The Juice and Specialty Products Prep position plays a critical role within Product Connections, responsible for preparing juice and other specialty food products for customer purchase, product demonstrations, and marketing events. This role involves setting up and organizing preparation stations, strictly following safety and food handling procedures, and adhering to program compliance and reporting requirements. The team member routinely handles equipment and machinery such as juicers, sharp utensils, and hot machinery, emphasizing strict safety guidelines to maintain a secure and sterile work environment. Responsibilities include assisting teammates with event setups, cleaning, and food sampling activities to support the promotional efforts of the business. Attention to detail is paramount, as this role requires maintaining compliance with food safety certifications and completing necessary training and certifications as required by state and local regulations.
This position demands physical stamina, including the ability to lift at least 50 lbs multiple times a day and manage heavy equipment that can weigh between 50 to 600 lbs. The work environment is typically a retail store setting with exposure to refrigerated conditions, cleaning chemicals, and moderate to high noise levels. Candidates should be prepared to stand for extensive periods and work varied hours to meet event schedules. Communication skills in English are essential, with bilingual capabilities being an advantage depending on business needs. While supervisory responsibilities are not part of this role, the successful team member must demonstrate reliability, teamwork, and excellent interpersonal skills to liaise with coworkers, management, and customers effectively.
As Product Connections continues to innovate in retail marketing, the Juice and Specialty Products Prep specialist is integral in delivering memorable, high-quality product experiences that align with our clients' marketing goals.
