Job Requirements
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in related fields preferred
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs continuously several times per day
- Ability to push wheeled machines weighing 50-600 lbs
- Ability to prepare foods using produce, machinery and sharp utensils
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Flexibility to work varied hours
- Ability to safely climb using a 6 foot step stool
- Visual ability to read instructions for safety and food compliance
- Ability to work in cold, refrigerated conditions and near hot equipment
- Ability to sit, stand, talk, hear, and use hands for computer operation
- Ability to listen, understand, read, and communicate effectively
- Ability to engage with customers and coworkers
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience in product marketing, product demonstrations, or food, beverage, or restaurant industry preferred
- Ability to safely and effectively prepare juice or other specialty products
- Ability to conduct demonstration and sampling events
- Applicable state and local food safety certification or license
Job Duties
- Properly set up and prepare the area for specialized food products
- Fully read materials that accompany product demonstrations to understand program scope, instructions, production requirements and program compliance
- Follow all safety requirements when using equipment, practice proper lifting techniques
- Adhere to all required tasks and procedures related to safe food handling, preparation, production, packaging, labeling, merchandising and disposal
- Accurately complete all reporting requirements including online submissions
- Regularly check product event schedule and email for updates and supervisor requests
- Complete certifications and attend special training sessions as required
- Follow safety and compliance guidelines for machine operation, cleaning and maintenance
- Maintain a clean, sterile and safe work area using proper cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Assist teammates with event setup or cleanup and kitchen duties as needed
- Conduct food sampling and demonstrations in support of business needs, following general setup and teardown guidelines
