The role of the Product Demonstrator is pivotal to the success of these marketing efforts. This position involves preparing juice and other specialty products for purchase, setting up and maintaining a safe and visually appealing demonstration area, and adhering strictly to food safety and operational protocols. The employee must read and understand all materials accompanying product demonstrations to ensure compliance with program scopes and production requirements. This job demands strict adherence to safety guidelines, especially when using potentially hazardous equipment such as hot machinery and sharp blades. The Product Demonstrator must also practice proper lifting techniques when handling boxes or heavy merchandise, as the role requires regular physical activity.
Responsibilities include the preparation, production, packaging, labelling, merchandising, and disposal of food items following all safety and hygiene guidelines. Accurate completion of reporting requirements, including online submissions, is essential. The individual must regularly monitor schedules and communications for updates to events or corporate instructions. Certification completion and training participation are mandatory to comply with state and local food safety regulations as well as internal standards.
Physical demands of the job include the ability to lift weights up to 50 lbs repeatedly, push heavy wheeled machines weighing between 50-600 lbs, stand for extended periods, work in varied environments including cold and hot conditions, and safely use sharp utensils and machinery. The workplace is a retail store with interaction among co-workers, management, and customers amid moderate to high noise levels. English language proficiency is required, with bilingual abilities considered a plus depending on business necessity.

- prior experience in food handling or product marketing preferred

Job Qualifications
- Previous experience in product marketing, product demonstrations, or in the food, beverage or restaurant industry preferred
- applicable state and local food safety certification or license
- ability to safely and effectively prepare juice and specialty products
- able to conduct demonstrations and sampling events
- able to follow safety and compliance guidelines
- effective communication skills in English
- ability to work collaboratively with a team
Job Duties
