Acosta Group is recognized for its comprehensive suite of services that include digital and traditional retail events, experiential marketing, sponsorship activation, and omnichannel shopper marketing. With a workforce exceeding 10,000 field experts and more than 150 corporate employees, the company fosters a collaborative and inclusive culture, dedicated to professional growth and impactful career development. Joining Product Connections means becoming part of a team where your contributions are valued, your skills are nurtured, and your potential is unlocked to build meaningful brand relationships that influence consumer choices.
This part-time position, under the Marketing business unit, offers an hourly wage ranging from $16.50 to $17.50 and centers on the preparation and demonstration of specialty juice products and other related items within a retail store environment. The role encompasses a blend of hands-on product preparation, compliance with rigorous food safety standards, and engaging customer interactions to drive product awareness and sales. It requires meticulous attention to detail, adherence to health and safety protocols, and the ability to effectively communicate with diverse audiences. Candidates will be responsible for setting up demonstration areas, preparing products safely using machinery and sharp tools, conducting sampling events, and ensuring the maintenance of a clean, sterile workspace in compliance with local food regulations.
The position also involves administrative tasks such as completing online reporting requirements and staying updated on event schedules and corporate communications. Physical demands include the capability to lift boxes up to 50 pounds repeatedly, maneuver heavy wheeled machines, and stand for extended periods. Flexibility in working hours is expected to meet event schedules and store needs. Candidates must possess state and local food safety certification or license, and prior experience in product marketing, demonstrations, or the food and beverage industry is preferred. This role does not encompass supervisory responsibilities but is critical in supporting the broader marketing and retail sales objectives of Product Connections and Acosta Group. Working in a dynamic retail warehouse atmosphere, the employee will navigate moderate to high noise levels and exposure to refrigerated and heated conditions, reflecting the fast-paced and varied nature of retail marketing events.
