Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in product marketing or food and beverage industry preferred
- Ability to lift at least 50 lbs multiple times a day
- Ability to push wheeled machinery weighing 50-600 lbs
- Ability to operate machinery and use sharp utensils safely
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Flexibility to work varied hours
- Ability to climb using a 6' step stool when necessary
- Visual ability to read instructions for safety and compliance
- Ability to work in cold and hot environments
- Ability to sit, stand, talk, hear, and use hands to operate computer peripherals
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Ability to understand and interact with customers
- English proficiency
- Bilingual skills a plus depending on business needs
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience in product marketing, product demonstrations, or food, beverage, or restaurant industry preferred
- Ability to safely prepare juice or other specialty products for purchase
- Ability to conduct demonstration and sampling events
- Applicable state and local food safety certification or license
Job Duties
- Properly set up and prepare the area for specialized food products
- Fully read materials to understand program scope, instructions, production requirements, and compliance
- Follow all safety requirements when using equipment
- Practice proper lifting techniques with heavy merchandise
- Adhere to safe food handling, preparation, production, packaging, labeling, merchandising, and disposal procedures
- Accurately complete all reporting requirements including on-line requirements
- Regularly check product event schedule and email for updates and instructions
- Complete required certifications and attend training sessions
- Follow safety and compliance guidelines for equipment operation, cleaning, and maintenance
- Maintain a clean, sterile, and safe work area
- Assist teammates with event set-up, clean-up, and kitchen duties
- Conduct food sampling and demonstration events following set-up and tear-down procedures
