Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a kitchen or culinary role
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Strong communication skills
  • Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy items

Job Qualifications

  • Culinary degree or equivalent experience
  • Proven experience in a professional kitchen environment
  • Leadership skills to supervise and motivate team members
  • Knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation regulations
  • Ability to prepare and cook a variety of dishes to high standards
  • Strong organizational and time management skills

Job Duties

  • Prepare, season, cook and test food items for consumption in food and beverage outlets
  • Perform supervisory duties including supervising line cooks and acting in absence of lead chef
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, local and company health, safety, sanitation standards
  • Train, schedule and assign work to team members
  • Assist with evaluations of team members
