Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a kitchen or culinary role
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Strong communication skills
- Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy items
Job Qualifications
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience
- Proven experience in a professional kitchen environment
- Leadership skills to supervise and motivate team members
- Knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation regulations
- Ability to prepare and cook a variety of dishes to high standards
- Strong organizational and time management skills
Job Duties
- Prepare, season, cook and test food items for consumption in food and beverage outlets
- Perform supervisory duties including supervising line cooks and acting in absence of lead chef
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, local and company health, safety, sanitation standards
- Train, schedule and assign work to team members
- Assist with evaluations of team members
