John Deere is currently seeking a Johnston Conference Center Coordinator to join its team in Johnston, Iowa. This onsite role is part of the Communications function and specially serves John Deere Financial. The coordinator will be responsible for planning and organizing meetings and events, coordinating with various service contractors, and supporting logistics for internal and external functions, including staffing, venue arrangements, refreshments, lodging, transportation, and banquets. Additionally, this position involves handling ticket distribution for community events and working closely with representatives from different units and divisions to ensure seamless event execution.

This position demands exceptional organizational and communication skills, with a minimum of two years of experience in coordinating multiple functions, including meetings and events. Proficiency in Microsoft products such as PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, Word, and Teams is essential. Strong verbal and written communication capabilities are a must, complemented by experience in event planning and exposure to automation tools, which will distinguish candidates. The role also prefers candidates with education or experience in business or management disciplines. Job Requirements

  • Two or more years of experience coordinating and scheduling multiple functions/events/meetings
  • Two or more years of experience with Microsoft PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, Word and Teams
  • Two or more years of experience demonstrating effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be 18 years or older to apply

Job Duties
