The Housekeeper position at Ivy Park at Burbank is a part-time role with a competitive pay range of $17 to $17.50 per hour. This position plays a vital part in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the community, ensuring that all resident apartments, public areas, common spaces, and work areas are cleaned thoroughly and maintained to the highest standards. The Housekeeper is responsible for doing laundry for both residents and the community, providing essential support that directly impacts the comfort and well-being of residents. Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must pass a criminal background check
- Must pass health screening tests including physical and TB tests
- Willingness to comply with vaccination and preventive health measures as required
- Prior housekeeping or janitorial experience preferred
Job Qualifications
- Prefer prior housekeeping or janitorial experience
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs
- Possess written and verbal skills to interact and communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, physicians, healthcare professionals, residents, and their families
- Must pass a criminal background check and health screening tests, including physical and TB tests
- Willingness to vaccinate, participate in daily screening, surveillance testing, and to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required to prevent the spread of COVID-19 or other communicable diseases
Job Duties
- Clean all resident apartments as directed
- Clean all public areas, common areas, and work areas as directed
- Complete community and resident laundry and ironing as assigned
- Maintain a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents, and guests, following established safety standards
- Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments
