The role of the Shift Lead is an integral part of our management team, supporting the Restaurant General Manager and the Store Assistant General Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations during assigned shifts. This position is designed as a developmental role for associates aiming to advance their leadership careers within the company, providing valuable training and hands-on experience in managing staff and operations. The Shift Lead not only ensures that food and service quality meet or exceed company standards but also fosters a positive team environment by motivating and empowering their colleagues. Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Minimum of six months experience in a restaurant, hospitality or retail environment
  • Preferably with team lead experience
  • Ability to lift, move or carry up to 75 pounds
  • Ability to bend, twist, kneel, crouch, stoop and crawl
  • Frequent standing and walking
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to lead with respect and integrity

Job Duties

  • Support the Restaurant General Manager with the responsibility and management of all associates during assigned shifts
  • Ensures food, beverage and service quality meet or exceed standards
  • Monitoring all service equipment
  • Performing closing and/or opening duties
  • Train and motivate fellow associates
  • Anticipating customer needs and addressing customer concerns
  • Performing duties such as preparing/transporting deposits, assisting with labor scheduling and product projections with manager approval
  • Ensures a safe working and customer experience environment
  • Ensuring compliance with all company policies
  • Contributing to a positive team environment through attitude and example
  • Other duties as needed
