The role of Restaurant General Manager at Pizza Hut is a critical leadership position responsible for managing day-to-day restaurant operations to ensure both customer and team member satisfaction while maximizing profitability. Financial responsibilities include managing inventory, forecasting productivity, controlling costs related to sales and labor, financial reporting, and achieving set financial targets. Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and Pizza Hut's quality standards is an essential part of the job. The Manager will also handle cash management duties such as daily bank deposits and addressing cash discrepancies. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends, is required, and the Manager will report directly to the District Manager.   • Minimum of 3 years experience working directly in a restaurant environment or food industry

Job Duties

  • Provide overall leadership in human resources functions such as performance management, scheduling, communicating and applying all company policies, recruitment and selection, discipline, coaching and training all team members, and conduct performance appraisals
  • Maintain all financials including inventory control, forecasting productivity, financial reporting, control cost of sales and cost of labor
  • Attain financial targets
  • Execute local marketing campaigns and implement new promotions
  • Responsible for making the daily bank deposit
  • Manage cash issues including cash shortages
  • Ensure adherence to Occupational Health and Safety regulations
  • Maintain awareness of competitor promotions, trends and growth
  • Ensure the restaurant team maintains the highest level of customer service
  • Handle customer issues effectively
  • Ensure product quality and proper execution of Pizza Hut standards
  • Order products and maintain good supplier relations
  • Assist the District Manager in the market as needed
