Job Requirements

  • bachelor's degree in engineering, operations management, or related field
  • minimum of 7-10 years experience in manufacturing or logistics process optimization
  • certified lean six sigma black belt or equivalent certification preferred
  • proven success leading improvement initiatives in manufacturing
  • strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • proficiency in data analysis tools such as excel and minitab
  • familiarity with ERP systems and digital transformation initiatives
  • reside in new york or neighboring state within driving distance to JFK
  • ability to work remotely with weekly onsite presence at kitchen facilities

Job Duties

  • develop and execute a comprehensive continuous improvement strategy
  • act as a key advisor to leadership on strategy execution and process improvements
  • develop and implement multi-year strategic roadmaps
  • execute lean and six sigma projects to improve manufacturing processes and cost efficiencies
  • identify and eliminate non-value-added activities
  • establish key performance indicators to track improvement initiatives
  • train and mentor employees on continuous improvement methodologies
  • facilitate change initiatives and manage resistance
  • lead best practice projects and standardization efforts across facilities
