We are currently seeking a Front Desk Associate for a part-time position paying $20.00 per hour located in Jersey City, NJ. This role requires a candidate who excels at working independently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a warm and professional demeanor. The Front Desk Associate is the pivotal point of contact for residents and guests, serving as the face of the property and ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience from the moment someone enters the building. This role mandates a valid SORA license, demonstrating a commitment to safety and regulatory compliance.

The Front Desk Associate will be responsible for managing the lobby environment by making eye contact, greeting residents and guests enthusiastically, and handling various requests and communications efficiently. Part of the duties also includes monitoring incoming packages, food deliveries, and contractor arrivals while coordinating with property management and team members to ensure seamless operation. The successful candidate will maintain a polished appearance in the supplied uniform and exhibit an outgoing personality with a focus on hospitality and teamwork.

Job Duties

  • Make eye contact and welcome residents and guests warmly
  • Monitor lobby and handle incoming calls and requests
  • Receive, sign for, and efficiently deliver packages and food deliveries
  • Facilitate contractor arrivals and departures
  • Coordinate realtor, potential homebuyer, and renter visits
  • Advise residents and guests on property rules and regulations
  • Ensure proper access procedures for residents, guests, and vendors
  • Promptly respond to resident phone calls, requests, and concerns
  • Maintain a sharp appearance in supplied uniform
  • Collaborate effectively with team members and property management
