Job Description

This opportunity is with a McDonald's restaurant independently owned and operated by a franchisee, not directly by McDonald's USA. While the franchise license allows the use of McDonald's logos, branding, and product offerings, the franchisee acts as a separate business entity responsible for all employment affairs, including hiring, training, scheduling, and employee management. McDonald's USA has no involvement in the hiring processes or employment decisions of this location.

The restaurant offers a dynamic work environment that emphasizes teamwork, personal growth, and career advancement. The role of Janitorial/Maintenance Person is vital in maintaining both the cleanliness and operational efficiency of the facility. This position will suit individuals who enjoy working hands-on and take pride in creating a welcoming environment for customers and staff alike.

In this position, you will assist management by performing tasks that maintain outstanding interior and exterior cleanliness, ensuring that the restaurant operates smoothly and safely. Your responsibilities will be diverse, from filtering oil fryers daily to cleaning windows and restrooms, maintaining outside grounds, and supporting deliverable logistics. Regular maintenance duties such as changing light bulbs, cleaning HVAC systems, and ensuring equipment and trash handling are other essential aspects of this role.

This role offers various learning and growth opportunities, including on-the-job training and college tuition assistance through programs like Archways to Opportunity. Full-time employees benefit from medical, dental, and vision coverage after qualifying periods, alongside other insurance benefits. Additionally, there are several bonus programs designed to reward performance and dedication.

Working here means joining a team committed to energy, purpose, and leadership development. The restaurant culture encourages team members to pursue education, choose flexible hours, and build valuable skills in hospitality and maintenance arenas. This career path offers the potential to develop leadership capabilities and advance within the company, making it ideal for those seeking a long-term, rewarding employment experience.
