The current opening is for the position of Porter within the Janitorial Services Team. This role is hourly and non-exempt with a competitive starting pay of $15 per hour. Shift options include Friday and Saturday from 2 pm to 8 pm, Sunday from 12 pm to 5 pm, and Wednesday and Thursday from 1 pm to 7 pm. The Porter is integral to providing high-quality cleaning services, often in busy, high-traffic locations or as an individual crew member. This job involves daily interaction with customers and requires the ability to prioritize tasks to meet the unique work requirements of each site.

A Porter at KBS is responsible not only for maintaining cleanliness but also for building and sustaining strong customer relations. They must have a broad understanding of cleaning and janitorial processes and exhibit excellent customer service skills. Strong problem-solving abilities and leadership potential are also important, as the role may involve providing solutions and taking initiative under the direction of the manager. The ability to communicate effectively, follow detailed written instructions, and perform physically demanding work such as lifting up to 49 pounds and walking or standing for up to 10-12 hours is essential for success in this role.
