Job Requirements
- ability to lift and move totes up to 49 pounds
- ability to walk frequently throughout the facility during the shift
- ability to stand and walk for up to 10-12 hours
- ability to carry out detailed written instructions
- ability to read and interpret safety rules and procedure manuals generally in English with some Spanish where required
- ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers
- required to use mobile timekeeping software and smartphone access for clocking in and out
- must comply with company policies and safety standards
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- prior janitorial or cleaning experience is beneficial
- excellent customer service skills
- ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers
- ability to follow detailed written or oral instructions
- basic knowledge of safety rules and handling of cleaning chemicals
- familiarity with mobile timekeeping applications is a plus
Job Duties
- provide excellent cleaning services often requiring the need to interact with customers and prioritize work based on daily needs
- work directly with customers daily and maintain excellent customer relations while executing customer requests and meeting janitorial duties
- demonstrate a broad knowledge of cleaning and janitorial processes
- exhibit excellent customer service skills
- lead and provide solutions to various problems
- perform other responsibilities as directed by manager
