Job Requirements
- 5-7 years experience in managing janitorial service operations
- strong knowledge of computer software such as Microsoft suite
- competency in managing janitorial services, labor, budget, and resources
- experience directing cleaning operations in supervisory and management capacity
- ability to train employees in safety procedures
- valid driver license
- excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- willingness to participate in company pre-employment screening process including background investigation
- experience managing staff in a union environment

Job Duties
- Supervise routine cleaning of all areas and the grounds
- provide leadership, supervision, and training to custodial staff
- oversee janitorial teams across multiple buildings
- manage janitorial services including floor care and special services
- ensure compliance with building and equipment cleaning plans
- inspect buildings regularly
- maintain inventory and budget controls
- prepare work schedules as per contract requirements
- conduct monthly safety training and provide relevant training
- perform annual performance reviews
- respond to client requests timely
- address and correct work order issues
- maintain high standards of safety, cleanliness, and efficiency
- develop and maintain client relationships
