The Maintenance Staff position at Dave & Buster's plays a critical role in maintaining the overall cleanliness and visual appeal of the venue. This role is central to the first impression guests have when they enter the facility, impacting their entire experience. As a maintenance team member, you will be responsible for cleaning, repairing, and maintaining both the interior and exterior parts of the building. Job Requirements
- must be at least 18 years of age
- work days, nights and/or weekends as required
- work in noisy, fast paced environment with distracting conditions
- read and write handwritten notes
- lift and carry up to 30 pounds
- move about facility and stand for long periods of time
- walk or stand 100 percent of shift
- reach, bend, stoop, mop, sweep and wipe frequently
Job Qualifications
- previous maintenance experience at a hotel or restaurant is preferred but not required
- ability to communicate effectively with guests and other team members
- disciplined and self-motivated
- friendly with the ability to smile while working days, nights and/or weekends
- compliance with dress guidelines maintaining neat, clean and professional appearance
Job Duties
- deliver an unparalleled guest experience through the best combination of food, drinks and games in an ideal environment for celebrating all out fun
- keep immediate supervisor promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance and take prompt corrective action where necessary or suggest alternative courses of action
- safely and correctly operate all equipment
- use all chemicals properly in the correct quantities for safety and cost control
- adhere to all company safety and sanitation policies and procedures
- control costs by not overstocking or disposing of unused materials
- clean and maintain kitchen and dish areas, floors, walls and drains
