Environment Control is currently hiring a part-time Janitorial Day Cleaning Floater for various locations including Barberton, Akron, Fairlawn, Hudson, Twinsburg, Independence, Brooklyn, Old Brooklyn, and Cleveland. The role is essential for the Environment Control team, with responsibilities revolving around ensuring clean and sanitary conditions across multiple buildings. The position requires a dependable, mature, and hardworking individual who can work independently with minimal supervision. This part-time position offers a competitive hourly wage of $16.00 to $17.00 per hour and guarantees at least 20 hours of work weekly from Monday to Friday. The workday typically falls between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm, with start times that may vary between 8:00 am and 9:00 am based on coverage needs. Employees must also be available on call during these hours to respond to cleaning needs across the designated service areas.

The Janitorial Day Cleaning Floater is responsible for a broad array of cleaning duties, including trash removal, sweeping, mopping, restroom cleaning and restocking supplies, and sanitizing all major touchpoints to maintain hygienic environments. The job demands reliability, as it requires daily travel to multiple building sites scattered primarily across Summit and Cuyahoga Counties. Employees must maintain a clean background, verified through an FBI/BCI background check and DMV check, to ensure the safety and security of the facilities and clients served.
