This position at NAS is for a Building Maintenance Cleaner at Manchester Airport (MHT). The role involves executing janitorial duties primarily during the third shift to maintain the cleanliness and functionality of various airport facilities including rooms, offices, lounges, restrooms, corridors, jet bridges, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other designated areas under the supervision of the Station Manager. The Building Maintenance Cleaner is vital to maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for passengers, airport staff, and visitors by performing specialized cleaning tasks using appropriate equipment and materials. This demanding role requires the ability to work overnight shifts and on weekends or holidays without fail, as airport operations are continuous.

The responsibilities encompass a wide range of cleaning functions such as polishing marble surfaces and lighting fixtures, sweeping, mopping, waxing floors, vacuuming carpets, dusting furniture, polishing metalwork, cleaning walls and windows, replenishing supplies, and safely disposing of waste.
