We are currently seeking a Janitorial Cleaner to join our team on a part-time basis. This non-exempt role offers an hourly wage ranging from $15.00 to $18.00, commensurate with experience, and includes an initial probationary period of 90 days. The Janitorial Cleaner position is designed for individuals who are reliable, detail-oriented, and able to follow established safety and cleaning procedures.

As a Janitorial Cleaner, you will be responsible for routinely cleaning restrooms, floors, surfaces, and designated work areas to ensure a hygienic and pleasant environment. This role demands a strong commitment to safety protocols and requires the ability to lift, push, and operate cleaning machinery safely. Work schedules are flexible yet structured, with shifts based on location availability and limited to no more than five consecutive days within a seven-day workweek. Shifts vary in length from four to six hours and may include early morning, overnight, or weekend hours depending on the assignment.

Your responsibilities in this position will include tasks such as washing, buffing, and maintaining tile and carpet floors; detailed cleaning of restrooms and ensuring soap and paper supplies are restocked; disinfecting trash bins; vacuuming and stain removal on carpets; meticulous cleaning of fixtures such as gondolas and corner guards; trash pickup throughout the store, including the front exterior; and upkeep of supply stocks in backrooms. Safety is paramount, and strict adherence to dress code policies, including wearing slip-resistant shoes, closed-toe footwear, uniform T-shirts, and presentation of virtual badge identification, is mandatory.

This position also entails specific restrictions such as prohibition of audio headphones during work hours and requirements to clock in and out using mobile applications. Ideal candidates will be comfortable using mobile payroll and timekeeping systems. The role requires physical stamina including bending, kneeling, lifting, and operating equipment that can weigh up to 200 pounds. We are looking for individuals who can commit to working during holidays and blackout dates and who exhibit a professional attitude towards their work environment.
