Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of related work experience
- basic knowledge of cleaning products and procedures or willingness to learn
- ability to follow oral and written instructions in english
- ability to lift or carry up to 100 pounds
- physical ability to perform heavy lifting climbing stooping crawling and equipment operation
- ability to work indoors and outdoors including adverse conditions
- valid california driver’s license for equipment operator
- ability to pass forklift certification for equipment operator

Job Duties
- perform routine maintenance duties such as vacuuming sweeping mopping floors cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms sinks countertops and refrigerators dust and clean interior windowsills and windows empty trash cans replace liners and clean receptacles recycle as instructed use industrial chemicals and equipment to clean various surfaces finish all assigned work within allotted time notify leads or supervisors of neglected cleaning tasks leave all work areas clean and orderly adhere to company policies and sustainability initiatives maintain compliance with safety policies work irregular extended hours including nights weekends and holidays operate maintenance equipment safely follow equipment checklists maintain and report equipment damages push and pull full 3-yard containers over uneven surfaces sort cardboard and compost from trash operate compactors clean bin yard communicate with equipment operators use window cleaning techniques and equipment including poles hydraulic lifts and scaffolding ensure windows closed doors shut and lights off after cleaning perform painting and repair duties including drywall mudding texturing paint matching and stripping operate carpet extractors and use appropriate chemicals perform water damage restoration use floor stripping waxing methods operate buffers and auto scrubbers reset rooms after cleaning tasks
