The role of Dock Cleaner at Old Dominion is a vital position within the Service Center operations that ensures a clean, organized, and safe dock environment. Working primarily in the dock area, the Dock Cleaner is responsible for sweeping, emptying trash, organizing dock and freight supplies, restocking, picking up hazards, and performing light repairs on non-motorized dock equipment such as deck bars and straps. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Ability to operate a forklift safely
  • Prior experience in a similar role preferred
  • Ability to follow safety guidelines
  • Must be able to perform physical tasks involving cleaning and light repair work
  • Availability to work Monday through Friday morning shifts
  • Strong communication skills
