The Janitor position at MidPen's Moon Gate Plaza is vital to maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and overall welcoming environment necessary for the well-being of residents and staff. Reporting to the Community Manager and assisting the Maintenance Supervisor, the Janitor is responsible for ensuring the upkeep of the property grounds and common areas. This role involves general cleaning of vacated units to prepare for new occupants, sanitizing shared spaces such as restrooms and laundry rooms, and supporting routine maintenance activities while adhering to safety protocols. Additionally, the Janitor participates in basic landscaping and other essential site upkeep duties, responding promptly to any requests made by site leadership.

This hourly position offers a pay range from $17.82 to $19.90, adjusted based on the applicant’s experience and qualifications. It also requires bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish, ensuring effective communication within the diverse community served by MidPen. The role demands a strong physical capability, including standing, bending, walking for long periods, lifting up to 50 pounds, and working comfortably in confined spaces and heights using ladders and stairs.
