Job Requirements
- Prior porter or custodial experience preferred
- ability to work full-time schedule including days or night shifts
- willingness to comply with all federal, state and local cleaning and safety regulations
- ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending and prolonged periods of standing
- ability to follow detailed cleaning procedures
- legal authorization to work in the United States
- drug-free workplace compliance
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Job Duties
- Collects and disposes of trash following approved procedures and infection control plans
- dusts and damp mops floors following approved procedures
- moves equipment and furniture for proper cleaning and places furniture back in correct placement
- cleans assigned areas with the use of assigned materials and equipment, sanitizing all surfaces
- washes walls, windows, furniture, baseboards and other items to maintain a clean, safe environment for patients, visitors and staff
- seeks out areas requiring cleaning and takes initiative to complete the task
- completes all tasks assigned by supervisor
- performs tasks in accordance with all federal, state and county guidelines
- strips, scrubs, buffs and refinishes floors and shampoos carpet
- contributes to the team and exhibits professionalism with customers, fellow employees and others
- performs other duties as assigned
