Job Description
Twin Peaks is a renowned restaurant chain known for its unique mountain lodge-style atmosphere and exceptional service. The establishment prides itself on delivering high-quality dining experiences in a clean, welcoming, and exciting environment. Twin Peaks restaurants are designed to provide an environment where both guests and employees feel proud to be part of the Twin Peaks family. The company emphasizes teamwork, discipline, and a commitment to maintaining pristine conditions throughout their dining spaces. With a commitment to safety, sanitation, and great service, Twin Peaks seeks individuals who demonstrate pride and uphold extreme standards in their roles.
The Janitor / Busser position at Twin Peaks plays a critical role in keeping the restaurant clean, organized, and sanitized according to the company’s rigorous operational policies and health standards. This role is perfect for individuals who take pride in their work and possess an eye for detail, discipline, and teamwork. The employee will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation in various areas of the restaurant including dining spaces, hallways, restrooms, and kitchen areas. This includes sweeping, mopping, cleaning tables, organizing equipment, and ensuring that all activities adhere to the Health and Occupational Hygiene (HOH) standards, safety guidelines, and Global Harmonized System (GHS) requirements.
This job requires employees to maintain a specific uniform standard indicating professionalism, including wearing a clean Twin Peaks black hat properly, maintaining personal grooming such as clean shaven or well-maintained facial hair, and wearing non-faded TP kitchen shirts tucked in at all times. The role demands physical stamina as tasks often require standing, walking, and moving up to 15 pounds. Employees must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and capable of following simple instructions and operational policies effectively.
Training is provided and mandatory for all new hires to ensure full compliance with the restaurant’s stringent sanitation and safety protocols. Employees also participate in orientation classes and continue to engage in ongoing training, including food and alcohol service certifications when applicable. The Janitor / Busser often collaborates closely with other team members, ensuring that cleanliness standards contribute to a positive guest experience. This role offers a foundational opportunity for individuals interested in developing a career in the hospitality industry, with growth potential as they gain experience and demonstrate dedication to excellence.
