The Janitor role at MSI is an entry-level, full-time hourly position that plays a critical part in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the company's showroom and warehouse facilities. Scheduled from Monday to Friday from 4:00 AM to 2:30 PM with two Saturdays per month from 4:00 AM to 9:00 AM, this role is vital in ensuring a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for both employees and customers. Compensation for this position ranges from $18.75 to $21.75 per hour, with overtime compensated at 1.5 times the base rate. Annual earnings typically fall between $47,000 and $62,600, depending on experience, overtime, and bonuses.

The responsibilities of the Janitor include performing general cleaning duties throughout the showroom and warehouse areas, including restrooms where supplies like toilet paper are replenished regularly. The janitor is also responsible for emptying trash receptacles, sweeping and mopping floors, operating the sweeper machine, restocking maintenance supplies in the storeroom, and carrying out minor repairs as necessary. Additional duties may be assigned as needed. This role requires physical stamina as it involves lifting up to 70 pounds and the ability to operate equipment safely. Furthermore, candidates who have prior experience in warehouse environments, forklift operation, and use of cleaning machinery such as sweepers will be favored. Basic computer or tablet skills are considered a plus. The position demands employees to work safely and follow all safety protocols, given its status as a safety-sensitive role.
