Daily responsibilities include vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, dusting, disinfecting commonly used items, maintaining restrooms, and managing waste disposal. The position also includes ensuring safety protocols are followed and inventory of cleaning supplies is maintained. The ability to lift up to 50 pounds and close doors at the end of shifts is essential.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous janitorial or cleaning experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to follow safety and security procedures

Job Duties
- Clean the interior of buildings, including floors, carpets, rugs, windows and walls, and general tasks
- Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors in offices, rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, elevators, stairs, locker rooms, and other work areas
- Clean stains from chairs and upholstered furniture
- Keep furniture free of dust and clean lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and moldings
- Empty trash cans and clean trash cans and ashtrays
- Disinfect commonly used items such as desks, door handles, office tools, and phones
- Clean and maintain restrooms and replenish supplies
- Wash and clean windows and mirrors
- Empty trash and recycling containers to the disposal area
- Clean trash and snow from sidewalks if necessary
- Maintain the inventory of cleaning supplies and request missing materials from supervisors
- Notify supervisors of unsafe conditions or maintenance needs
- Maintain a cleaning chart indicating cleaned and inspected areas
- Follow safety and precaution rules
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Close doors at the end of the night shift
