Job Requirements

  • Valid drivers license
  • Clean driving record
  • Reliable vehicle to travel throughout the territory
  • Ability to lift a box of wine
  • Lives in San Diego or able to relocate for the position
  • Willingness to work in a non-remote role
  • Strong communication skills
  • Self-motivated and organized

Job Qualifications

  • Prior wine and spirits sales experience preferred but not mandatory
  • Lives in San Diego or able to relocate for the position, remote work is not a possibility for this role
  • Existing relationships within the San Diego hospitality and retail community strongly preferred
  • Passion for Italian wine, spirits, and hospitality
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently
  • Comfortable with portfolio presentations and account management
  • Ability to lift a box of wine
  • Must have a valid drivers license, clean driving record, and a reliable vehicle to travel throughout the territory (expense stipend provided)

Job Duties

  • Manage and grow sales across San Diego County
  • Develop and maintain relationships with a mix of on/off-premise accounts
  • Prospect and open 3-5 new accounts per month aligned with our portfolio
  • Conduct 15-20 in person sales calls and tastings on a weekly basis
  • Organize and run in-store tastings, staff trainings, and educational events to boost awareness on a weekly basis
  • Maintain strong product knowledge across wine and spirits categories
  • Execute sales goals while representing the company professionally and authentically
  • Enter all tastings, customer communication, and orders into company CRM on a daily basis
