Job Requirements
- Valid drivers license
- Clean driving record
- Reliable vehicle to travel throughout the territory
- Ability to lift a box of wine
- Lives in San Diego or able to relocate for the position
- Willingness to work in a non-remote role
- Strong communication skills
- Self-motivated and organized
Job Qualifications
- Prior wine and spirits sales experience preferred but not mandatory
- Lives in San Diego or able to relocate for the position, remote work is not a possibility for this role
- Existing relationships within the San Diego hospitality and retail community strongly preferred
- Passion for Italian wine, spirits, and hospitality
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently
- Comfortable with portfolio presentations and account management
- Ability to lift a box of wine
- Must have a valid drivers license, clean driving record, and a reliable vehicle to travel throughout the territory (expense stipend provided)
Job Duties
- Manage and grow sales across San Diego County
- Develop and maintain relationships with a mix of on/off-premise accounts
- Prospect and open 3-5 new accounts per month aligned with our portfolio
- Conduct 15-20 in person sales calls and tastings on a weekly basis
- Organize and run in-store tastings, staff trainings, and educational events to boost awareness on a weekly basis
- Maintain strong product knowledge across wine and spirits categories
- Execute sales goals while representing the company professionally and authentically
- Enter all tastings, customer communication, and orders into company CRM on a daily basis
