Job Requirements

Minimum three years of food service experience
Ability to carry trays weighing 10 lbs
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, stressful environment
Physical ability to stand for extended periods, bend, kneel, lift up to 40 lbs
Ability to interact professionally with guests and staff in English
Compliance with gaming licensure, including background checks and drug screening
Willingness to work any shift including weekends
Neat, professional appearance and good personal hygiene
High reliability and conscientiousness

Job Qualifications

Minimum three years of food service experience
Table service restaurant experience highly preferred
Must be able to carry trays that weigh a minimum of 10 lbs
Ability to deliver a service level that creates a positive, memorable entertainment atmosphere
Commitment to routinely go above and beyond in job responsibilities
Must present an image of excitement, enthusiasm, and outgoing personality while maintaining professionalism
Must be able to work any shift including weekends

Job Duties

Exhibit conduct in accordance with all Gaming Commission regulations and Seminole Tribe of Florida departmental policies and procedures
Must be able to work in a fast-paced, busy, and somewhat stressful environment and maintain physical stamina
Proper mental attitude and ability to deal effectively with guests, physical ability to access all areas of the facility, withstand prolonged standing, stretching, bending, kneeling, lifting and carrying items weighting up to 40 lbs without restriction
Must be congenial and have neat, professional appearance with good personal hygiene
Must be reliable and conscientious, possess the ability to interact (in English) with guests, co-workers and supervisory staff
Must be accurate and detail oriented with strong interpersonal and communication skills
The ability to act quickly and exercise good judgment under pressure and/or conflict situations is a must
Performs all other related and compatible duties as needed
Greet and serves guests in a timely and courteous manner
Take guest orders, serves food and drinks, and collects monies in a courteous and efficient manner
Adhere to cash handling procedures
Is familiar with all menu specifications and adheres to food & beverage policies, procedures, state liquor laws, state food safety handler regulations and related training material
Knowledgeable of restaurant (ordering) systems

Communicates with kitchen expeditor
checks order duplicates for correctness
communicates discrepancies
Completes set-up and closing duties in a timely manner
Maintains a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment within area

Promotes positive public/employee relations at all times
Perform other assignments as directed
