Job Requirements

  • Associate's or bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or related field preferred
  • minimum 3 years of experience in IT systems administration or network management
  • ability to provide 24x7 monitoring and on-call support
  • hands-on experience with Windows server environments
  • experience with Cisco or Ubiquiti networking equipment
  • strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • excellent communication abilities
  • capability to document IT systems accurately
  • willingness to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
  • valid driver's license may be required for onsite support
  • ability to work independently and as part of a team

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
  • proven experience in IT support and network management
  • strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows server environments
  • experience with virtualization technologies such as Microsoft Hyper-V
  • familiarity with network security practices and firewall management
  • proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software issues
  • excellent communication and customer service skills
  • ability to work 24x7 on-call shifts
  • experience with backup and disaster recovery processes
  • knowledge of Microsoft Exchange and Outlook email systems
  • familiarity with antivirus and intrusion detection systems

Job Duties

  • Conduct 24x7 continuous monitoring of servers, desktop computers, and networking devices
  • monitor connectivity, performance, system changes, firewall availability and performance
  • perform antivirus and intrusion detection monitoring
  • provide dedicated help desk support accessible via email, web, and phone
  • ensure 24x7 on-call availability with guaranteed response times for remote and in-person troubleshooting
  • troubleshoot system failures, client database access issues, hardware failures
  • support data backup and disaster recovery processes
  • manage spam and virus protection
  • maintain network security
  • document network configurations and procedures
  • deliver help desk support, server and desktop management, phone/remote/onsite support
  • maintain network security protocols
  • manage FTP file transfers
  • conduct Windows server maintenance
  • troubleshoot and maintain Microsoft Exchange/Outlook email systems
  • oversee backup troubleshooting and maintenance
  • support application servers troubleshooting and maintenance
  • manage mobile device administration
