Job Requirements

  • high school diploma general equivalency diploma (ged) and or ged equivalent programs
  • 3-5 years experience in a production environment
  • prior experience with high volume automated machinery
  • experience in a laundry service

Job Duties

  • folds linen and stocks exchange and par linen carts
  • inspects the quality of linen continuously for stains and tears
  • inspects all linen trucks and carts to assure they meet established standards
  • answers phone and assist caller
  • prepares linen as requested via phone orders and dispatches a laundry worker for delivery
  • assists in cleaning of work areas sweeping and dusting
  • adheres to the standards identified in the medical center's organizational competencies
