The Order Taker/Runner position is an essential role within the H-E-B Restaurant team, focused on enhancing the overall guest dining experience. This role involves actively engaging with customers, accurately taking their orders, preparing drinks, delivering food to both indoor and patio dining areas, and ensuring cleanliness throughout the restaurant. Job Duties

Builds strong relationships with customers in varying situations
takes orders from customers
assists with menu and beverage selections, including alcoholic beverages

serves food, drink, and products to guests
processes cash, check, debit, and credit transactions accurately and quickly
uses suggestive selling techniques and merchandises effectively to meet guest needs and build department sales

assists with catering orders as needed

properly handles, operates, and maintains equipment
