The role of Server at Hilton Miami Blue Lagoon is pivotal in maintaining the high standards of cleanliness, friendliness, and guest satisfaction that define the MCR standard across all its properties. As a Server, you will be responsible for delivering prompt, friendly, and accurate food and beverage service to guests. Your daily duties will include greeting guests warmly upon arrival, providing clear and accurate information about food and beverage options, and efficiently managing orders using the Point of Sale (POS) system. Job Requirements
- Experience in a hospitality, service, consumer-facing franchise or related field preferred
- Must have a positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to follow instructions, assigned tasks, and meet deadlines
- Always provide friendly service with a smile to guests
- Flexible schedule with availability days, nights, holidays, and weekends
- Must arrive and clock in on time for every shift
- Must clock in/out for breaks at designated times
- Must provide sufficient notice when calling out for a shift

Job Duties
- Greet guests happily upon arrival and during their stay with a smile
- Use guests' names to greet and welcome whenever possible
- Work collaboratively to contribute to high guest satisfaction scores
- Handle challenging guest situations with hospitality and urgency
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of hotel features and amenities
- Support and be aware of all hotel events and groups
- Answer incoming calls using approved friendly greetings
- Maintain sparkling clean workspaces throughout the hotel
- Pitch in to clean guest rooms and public spaces as needed
- Greet guests warmly while performing cleaning duties
- Complete all operational checklists with 100% accuracy during every shift
- Provide accurate and timely shift handover reports
- Wear clean, approved uniform with nametag and maintain grooming standards
- Communicate clearly, honestly, and professionally with team members
- Maintain a can-do attitude and willingness to meet business needs
- Collaborate to foster a welcoming environment and positive workplace
- Greet guests and give clear descriptions of food and beverage options
- Deliver hot to order items promptly from kitchen to tables
- Input orders using POS system and secure accurate payment
- Prepare coffee and specialized drinks as a barista
- Clear, clean, and reset tables as needed
- Observe diners and respond quickly to guest requests
- Complete daily inventory prep sheets and other side work
- Maintain knowledge of current food and beverage menus
- Escort guests to tables when necessary
